URGENT
Hello
An Indian fellow called saying he is from Road traffic Management. wanting to know private details of my fathers insurance accident. Sonny his name was. I gave him my fathers name and registration of car then noticed a little suspicious in his call. I got his number called back and another Indian answered with out office greeting. I also gave him my fathers insurance company but not his policy number as at that point I thought he was a fraud.
Im concerned that he will do more with this information.
Pls report this.

My mother received a phone call from this number on Saturday 3 November 2012 at around 6 pm.
Her location is Queensland, Australia.
The person identified themselves as "Rafi" and claimed to be from the Claim Department (Road and Traffic).
Rafi had a Asian accent.
Rafi stated his call was about an accident that occurred some years ago and that he was in the process of assessing a claim in favour of my mother.
Rafi asked my mother to call him back before 8:00pm.
This is highly suspect for the following reasons:
1. Rafi knew my mothers name;
2. Would not provide specific details about the accident or the vehicle to which it related (other than it was a vehicle in her name);
3. The call was on a Saturday evening;
4. When I called back, the number rang out and I was asked to leave a message (the message bank message was generic - clearly not recorded by Rafi).
Beware of this caller.
