Australia Reverse Phone Lookup

Unsolicited calls from a person claiming to be Ross Martin, who also claims to work for Microsoft. This person also threatened me.

Have numerous calls from this mob Claiming to be from Microsoft telling me my computer is sending out a virus. It's a total scam and needs to be investigated.

Keeps calling that they are Microsoft Australia, asks me to install Team Viewer (a software that can control your computer remotely). I've read that they have asked others for their credit card numbers to install a license, etc...

the number might be owned by a scammer.

This phone number was used in a Microsoft Office scam today 21/03/2013.
Someone called my phone today in the afternoon and I installed a VPN on my computer. The person advised me they had fixed errors on my computer and then asked me to transfer money via Western Union into their account. The payment was blocked by the bank and they are calling me back via this number tomorrow. I will be informing the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission Scam Watch tomorrow.

Received a phone call from a female with foreign accent proported to be from Micro Soft at 1 Epping rd, NSW. She identified my home address correctly etc.


Also wanted to connect to my computer to clear "corrupt files on my HDD" then wanted me to turn my computer on etc. I asked for a phone number in Sydney to ring to varify if all was correct 02 8417 2679
Then I asked to speak to the Australian Supervisor - Mr Andy Peterson. He also spoke with a chinese accent.
I informed him that this phone call was from overseas and at point phone line went dead.


I rang 02 8417 2679 and spoke to a person with chinese accent and said I'd spoken to this lady and would like to speak to Andy Peterson. He said OK I'll get him but then I said "this phone connection seems to be coming from overseas" and once again the phone went dead.


It appears we have a fraudelent business communicating through an australian phone number somewhere in NSW but probably redirected to an averseas location somewhere.
Who's name is that phone number registered under??
I will leave it up to you guys to sort it out.
I've also let MicroSoft know about the above.
