Call leave no msg the return call leaves you on hold for over 5 mins then hangs up!

keeps calling with no one on other end and then says goodbye and hangs up has done it 25 times today

numerous calls to our home phone during the day, no one at the other end when answered and musac when you call them back

"0283736811" has been bothering my phone line night and day with "music" and "goodbye" messages for days. I want it reported and stopped. At no point has there been any reason for my private telephone number to be disturbed, as this number is on the "do not call" list. Further to this I have not created any subscriptions or engagements with any advertisers.

Telstra is my next option, should there be no response regarding this issue.

Please advise - thank you.

Phone rings, pick up, silence for fifty seconds, then "tinny" voice says "goodbye".
If you dial back the number you get "canned" noisy music, and no one ever answers.
Call received midday 18/2/2013. Then repeated on 19/2/2013 at 12.30pm. And again at 2.30 pm.
