I had the same call and they scammed me out of money to clean up my computer! Now I have to spend more money having my computer looked at to ensure they don't have a remote access virus.

This number was in a pop-up telling me my PC was infected by a virus and I should call Microsoft immediately.
I assume that if I called, I would be asked to browse to a particular page, and grant remote access to the 'Microsoft Support Technician' that I'm talking to...and as it was me calling them, it must be okay, yeah?
