It's a scam. I got it through an online IQ quiz, where the last "continue" button was actually the subscribe button. I send the STOP SMS, which was successful, but still got the first charge, $14.99 in my case!!. Called Telstra, had charge refunded, and Premium SMS blocked. The quiz was linked through a Premium news service, Now the scammer are calling me about the charge! :-D

Total scam number, like above primed to hit subscribe and then charged to phone. Very annoying, especially as the link was off a premium news website.

Clicked on a fbook quiz link and then I got a text saying I am going to be charged $6.99 a week unless I unsubscribe or text STOP. I am unable to do either and nor can I ring the number. Conned!! Not happy!

What a Crock!
Somehow there are buttons on Facebook which, when clicked, intentionally or unintentionally, are linked to a subscription service... that goes to SmartWorld (if Optus) or Digital Turbine (if Telstra) and charge $6.99/wk.
Despicable because they will still charge you if you unsubscribe IMMEDIATELY.
Yet, when you try to call the company on their 1300 umber it GOES NOWHERE.
BULLSH*T and illegal scamming.
HUNT these b**stards down. They need to be slapped seriously because every time they charge $6.00 to every person they rake in the dough. I think the company is located in the Philippines.

Someone phone to do a 4 question intelligence quiz on Facebook. Last button was a subscribe button which the first 3 questions primed you to click automatically. Received sms saying you are subscribed to smartworld and charge of $6.99 will be billed in your next phone bill. To opt out the numbers 19789115 and 1300118832 were given. On texting STOP to 19789115, message came back"premium SMS transaction not completed. Spend limit has been exceeded. For details or to enable this service call 125111 (call charges apply). This message is free. Texting STOP to 1300118832 came back with a "message send failure. Scammed!!
