Message left on business voicemail couldnt understand them (indian accent) but wanted to speak with our MD, so rang it back, it was same voice and from quickcompareconnect who would do a free audit on our electricity bill and usage. I said no we have closed down, now seeing the above, I am guessing this is a scam and gets details from you that they shouldnt have that no doubt they then use against you.

An unsolicited call claiming they were ringing me from ATO, Sydney for tax fraud and evasion and if you don't call us back immediately, you maybe arrested/face severe consequences etc. The caller even asked me to credit $7,500 to an account# he was going to give next day to avoid Arrest Warrant. This was the number left on my answering machine. I immediately called ATO and informed about this scammer.

A unsolicited call claiming they were ringing me for tax fraud and invasion of $7,500 and if you don't call us back immediately you maybe arrested or face the consequenes etc.

A unsolicited call. Pretending to be from ATO and ringing me for tax fraud and invasion of tax $7500. And if you don't call us back immediately you maybe arrested or face the consequences etc. This was the number left on my messages and missed calls.
