Australia Reverse Phone Lookup

I received a call from this number at 11:57am today. Wouldn't have a clue who it was as I ignore unknown numbers but I suspect a spammer as I have been getting spam calls from a 02 number recently (02801997000) and now I hear this is related to Optus as well... I just registered on www.donotcall.gov.au and I advise that everyone does the same :)

Hi Everyone My husbands mobile has been getting calls from this number. The only people who have his mobile number is Optus me and his mother. I rang the number and got a message that Optus had given their mobile numbers to ICT Telemarketers so I rang Optus I have now stopped all calls from telemarketers and blasted them for giving out my number without permission. Of course they are denying that they have. Good luck everyone Caroline

I too have Optus mobile and have had calls unsolicited and unwelcome calls from this number.

Optus strikes again! I've received a lot of calls from this number. Nothing but problems with Optus, from charges on my bill of $800 plus to signing me up to a new contract without my permission or knowledge. Hopeless.

I keep getting calls from this number, rings 2 or 3 times then hangs up with no message left. I have both home and mobile calls on the do not call register but they still ocme. I had a telstra work service before and as soon as my contract is over, good bye optus.Crap service and they can't even reply to a sales enquiry e mail.

This number has been calling my phone all week, mostly around midday. No voice message has been left. I dont answer unknown numbers, so they may as well give up!

re 02 81983820 i had some moron trying to phone me with an unlisted number.the arsehole tried about 20 times in one day and left no message but i never answered it.If someone with an unlisted number tries to phone me,the least they can do is leave a message because i refuse to answer these type of calls

I had contacted the Optus Customer Contact line a few weeks ago to update my details with them. Ever since then, I have been receiving phone calls from 0281983820 - I picked up the first time and told them I was busy. They have since persisted, calling at least once a day, mornings, evenings. I've never had my phone with me when they've called, so I just constantly receive their "Missed calls". I searched the number and quickly found they are telemarketers and I'm really angry that Optus has clearly sold my information, or at least given private details, to some other company!

This number has called every day for the last 10 days and never leaves a message.

They've been hitting my optus mobile too. Bastards, about 11am each day. I'd already listed my mobile and landline on the donotcall register. It does nothing. I still get nuisance calls on both:-)

Never picked up on their number. My gf did once and when she said that I'm not there, they hanged up her. HOW RUDE. she told me they said they were ringing on behalf of Optus and they asked for me. Not happy that they know my name and surname and who knows what else they know. Not happy with OPTUS at all for this. The only thing i've registered in the past month is to activate my sim via the OPTUS website!! So pissed!!! going back to 3.!!!

Just did it to me!! My suggestion, answer the call, take a loong coffee/lunch break and when you return to your desk, hopefully the idiots will realise that they have been talking to thin air, wasting their time and their company's money! Do this enough times, they may get the hint...may be not..

they rang my VODAFONE mobile... if its about optus products how do they get my number????

I have been getting about 2 calls a day at the same time from the 0281983820 number. I live in VIC and dont know anyone with an (02) number... I had no idea who it was until I googled... the people calling dont even leave a message... Maybe ill start calling them from a private number everyday. Im annoyed!!!

optus are passing peoples phone numbers onto phone spammers

I'm an Optus customer and 02 8198 3820 have tried to call me on my mobile number at the same time each day for the last 3 days. Never leave a message. Then I got curious and decided to google -and here I am!! UNBELIEVABLE!!! Put a damn stop to this crap!
