I received a phone call from an indian person named Jarod claiming that he was calling on behalf of a company named "Countrywide". He told me he was ringing to offer compensation regarding a car accident in the last 12 months. I was very sceptical and asked him to give me his name and number so that I could get my Lawyer to get in touch with him, at which point he tried to tell me that there was no need to involve my lawyer as they were separate. I insisted and hung up the phone.
