They rang too leaving a very scary message giving the impression you are being investigated for tax fraud.
How can they be stopped?

Same robot from the "ATO" which said I had money to pay. Most frightening thing was that it purported to be a "last call warning" before legal action to retrieve the funds. Call back impossible - message saying the person at extension 91974009 was not available.

ATO scam. Some automated message left on my mobile to ring them on this number. Either that or it was Stephen Hawking. So fake it's nearly insulting.

Ring back measage saying they are ATO investigations . Telling me I was Audited and owe $3970 that I needed to pay them immediately over the phone or a warrant would be issued for my arrest for tax fraud. Do not give these peple your details ring Ato scam hotline and report them. They will keep ringing and threatening if you get another message do not ring back ring and talk direct with Ato. Big SCAM with very Nasty people that try to sound official its not.

Told me they are ATO and I MUST buy $1000 worth of iTunes cards and give them the numbers on back otherwise police will come to get my tax debt. I'm very upset and still shaking.

Scam as they ring my wife and pretend to be the ATO and ask here to call back as a matter of urgency.
